On August 6, 2023, TROSA’s campus celebrated our summer 2023 program graduates with a formal graduation ceremony. TROSA residents, staff, family, and friends joined our graduates in our Durham campus gymnasium for an afternoon of heartfelt speeches, smiles, and honest reflection. Our newest graduates took the stage to thank friends and family, honor their journeys, and share their wisdom with current residents.
TROSA holds graduation ceremonies several times a year. Recovery is a lifelong journey, and our graduation ceremonies are a time to celebrate the successes of residents who have completed at least two years of TROSA’s multi-year treatment program. TROSA graduation ceremonies are opportunities where graduates can pause to reflect on their recovery, acknowledge the connections they’ve made, and recognize the new lives they are building. TROSA Men’s Program Director and TROSA Triad Director Pierre Bynum provided opening remarks and reminded our graduates to keep looking forward and persisting in their recovery.
