TROSA Tree Lots: Sharing Community

Spotlight on TROSA's Tree Lots

For more than 20 years, TROSA Tree Lots have been a beloved holiday tradition for the Triangle, North Carolina region. TROSA Tree Lots are a TROSA social enterprise and our largest public fundraiser, involving our entire campus community. Purchases at our tree lots help ensure that our comprehensive, evidence-based treatment program and services remain cost-free to individuals with substance use disorders.

More Than Trees

TROSA Tree Lots create opportunities for our residents and staff to connect with the greater Triangle community and to hear directly from TROSA supporters. TROSA Tree Lots are also an opportunity to share our treatment program and services with those who may need help.

TROSA graduate Demitrius shared these thoughts on his personal experience at the Tree Lots as a TROSA resident:

“The fact that families and businesses choose to support TROSA year after year because they believe in what we do is eye-opening. It’s special.

“With all that goes on in life, before coming to a place like TROSA, you start to think that nobody cares about you. But starting treatment at TROSA and participating in the Tree Lots opened my eyes to the care that does exist in the world.”
