TROSA-East (T-East) housing has won the 32nd-annual Housing North Carolina Award for best Supportive Housing Development! Called TROSA-East (T-East), these homes provide a welcoming, beautiful, and safe space that residents in our Women’s Program can call home while rebuilding their lives.
Cost-free housing is an important component of our comprehensive services for men and women with substance use disorder. Our award was judged on design; sustainability; contribution to the local community; public and community comments of support; and our inclusion of therapeutic supportive services such as counseling and vocational and life skills training.
Our great thanks to the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency for this recognition and for the wonderful video they produced in our honor! Watch to learn more about our award and hear our acceptance speeches:
Special thanks to the TROSA’s Women’s Program, our campus neighbors, our generous donors, and to our building partners MHAworks, CT Wilson Construction, and Coulter Jewell Thames, P.A. Thank you all for making our TROSA-East campus possible!
