On February 4, 2023, TROSA was again a proud sponsor of North Carolina’s 45th Annual Legislative Breakfast on Mental Health.
The Breakfast’s panels and speakers focused on the need for legislation and policy that effectively supports comprehensive, community-base care.
The event started with a special presentation by Sen. Jim Burgin, who presented the 2023 Representative Paul Luebke Legislative Champion for Mental Health Award to Sen. Mike Woodard (pictured above with TROSA Senior Director of Community Partnerships Jesse and TROSA Medical Special Projects Manager Elisha).
TROSA enjoyed being a part of this important convening of mental health practitioners, advocates, and changemakers for the state of North Carolina and we thank the Breakfast Planning Committee, speakers, participants, and fellow sponsors for their work. We are proud to be a part of the continuum of care for individuals in need of mental health and substance use disorder treatment in North Carolina.
