Changed Lives in Recovery
On August 10, 2025, our campus celebrated with the newest group of TROSA graduates, leading changed lives in recovery.
TROSA holds formal graduation ceremonies several times during the year. Graduates are individuals who have completed their two-year treatment programs.
For each graduation, family, friends, staff, and invited guests gather together to celebrate.
It is an inspiring day, where graduates have the opportunity to share their thoughts, give thanks, reflect on their treatment programs and community assignments, share their goals, and celebrate the successes of their peers in recovery.

Overcoming Addiction
TROSA Men’s Program Director Pierre Bynum opened the ceremony by sharing life lessons he learned himself in recovery. Pierre reminded our graduates to remember all that they have accomplished, and shared that while there may be rough seas in life, “smooth seas never made a good sailor,” and that the TROSA community will be with them always.
Voices of Graduates
Graduate Travis reflected on his growth, especially his interpersonal relationships: “TROSA has helped me establish healthy relationships, not only with others but also with myself.”
Graduate Jarrett shared, “TROSA is your place to practice life, deal with pain, and live with strength…now it is up to me to utilize the tools I’ve gained.”
Graduate Christopher shared, “For me, graduation means the end of the chapter on struggle in my life, and the start of the chapter on living my real life.”
Graduate Cheyanne reminded all present to “never underestimate the power you have to take your life in a new direction.“
We celebrate all of our residents and graduates. Congratulations!
