Durham Chamber of Commerce presents Kevin McDonald with Duke Energy Citizenship and Service Award

TROSA Founder, President, and CEO Kevin McDonald received the Durham Chamber of Commerce’s 2019 Duke Energy Citizenship and Service Award. This Award recognizes those who use their time, talent & compassion to positively impact the lives of others.

On December 10, 2019 it was announced at the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce Legislative Forum and Holiday Reception that TROSA Founder, President/CEO Kevin McDonald received the Duke Energy Citizenship and Service Award. The award was presented by Duke Energy’s Indira Everett. Ms. Everett shared that this award “is reserved for an individual or group that demonstrates outstanding volunteerism and community service. Nominations are submitted by members of the Chamber. It is a tribute to those who make a difference in the community by using their time, talent, and compassion to positively impact the lives of others.”

Kevin was unable to attend the event in-person due to a schedule conflict, so Ms. Everett visited TROSA to personally present the award to Kevin. During her remarks, Ms. Everett said that “we are fortunate to have Mr. McDonald as a cornerstone of our community.”
