Honoring our Graduates

On November 6, 2022, TROSA celebrated our newest program graduates. Before an audience of family, friends, and program staff, our newest graduates took to the ceremony’s stage to reflect on their two years of treatment, the lessons they learned, and the support they received along the way. TROSA’s long-term and evidence-based community approach to substance use disorder treatment is uniquely successful in large part thanks to the support networks formed between fellow residents, staff, and community providers. Our graduation ceremonies are special moments for the entire TROSA campus to come together to celebrate all that our graduates have accomplished.

Graduate Jamie shared an emotional reflection on his own recovery at TROSA:

“For once in my life, I have actually successfully completed something for the good…this means a lot to me. Six days after I got here I lost my last living family member that I was in touch with. I always did stuff because I wanted to prove to my family that I could be different; but when I stepped through this door I didn’t have anybody else to prove it to except for myself. That’s what drove me the entire time. I wasn’t going to let myself down.”

TROSA President and CEO Keith Arin addressed our graduates, sharing:

“Today we are honoring individuals who have made an extraordinary and courageous commitment to changing their lives. Today we are celebrating the determination, hard work, and inspiring spirit of our newest graduates. Change is powerful. And change is challenging. You know more than anyone the challenges faced. You are leaders. You are inspiring. You have so much to offer the world. Today is a celebration of your future…and what you will do with that future. A future that you deserve.”

Congratulations to all of our graduates, past and present!
