More than 900 individuals signed up to run, walk, jog, and trot at the 2023 TROSA Turkey Trot!
In collaboration with race logistics partner Bull City Running Co., TROSA held its third annual Thanksgiving Day fundraising event to benefit our nonprofit multi-year recovery program.
Volunteers arrived at TROSA’s campus as early as 5AM to help set up for this annual family-friendly fun run, which started at 8AM. Runners from near and far participated, running a 5K loop that starts and finishes at TROSA’s campus in Durham. Our first and fastest runner crossed the TROSA Turkey Trot finish line in just over 16 minutes!
Prior to the race’s start, participants heard from TROSA President and CEO (and fellow runner) Keith Artin. Keith shared: “We are so proud to be such a critical and essential community resource. TROSA is all about connection and community–and we are so lucky to have an incredible community here with us today at TROSA. Thank you for coming out and Happy Thanksgiving.”
