At TROSA, we believe part of the recovery process is to learn to have fun while sober and to engage in positive interactions with people inside and outside of your immediate community.

Internal Activities

At TROSA, we regularly schedule a variety of activities including:

• Dances
• Camping
• Picnics
• Family Day
• Lake Trips

External Activities

Some people have never ordered from a menu, or seen a play before they came to TROSA. As a part of the Residency Program here at TROSA, we provide a variety of off-campus activities for our residents. Through participation in these activities we help introduce residents to safe, structured recreational activities such as those listed below:

• Plays/theatre
• Restaurants
• Movies
• Concerts

Recently, residents have attended Taming of the Shrew, Romeo and Juliet, and Tunnels. They've been to the Carolina Ballet and Evening in the Park at the Regency Park in Cary and had concert tickets for Bruce Springsteen, Earth, Wind and Fire, and Chicago.
